Herb Hammond

Herb Hammond is a forest ecologist, researcher, teacher, consultant and the pioneer of ecosystem-based conservation planning. He is the founder of the Silva Forest Foundation and author of the award-winning Seeing the Forest Among the Trees. Herb is a frequent keynote speaker and workshop leader, and the 2003 recipient of the Gold Canadian Environment Award for sustainable living.
