Website Blackout on June 4th in Support of #BlackOutSpeakOut

On Monday June 4th, New Society Publishers will be joining environmental, conservation and human rights groups in the #BlackOutSpeakOut action against the proposed Bill C-38.  On May 7th, we wrote an in-depth blog about this issue. In a nutshell, the proposed bill undercuts our environmental protection legislation, jeopardizes Canadian's participation in the democratic process and targets charities with funding cuts and tax audits.
