Bringing Back the Classics

One of the realities of book publishing has always been economies of scale. For book printing to be cost-effective thousands of copies of a book must be produced and the publishers must be reasonably sure of their ability to sell those copies in order to recover their costs. Because of this, publishers are often forced to put a book out of print when it still generates interest, simply because there is not enough demand to justify a full print run.

Happily, recent technological advances are changing this, and as a result we are excited to announce the launch of our latest publishing initiative—New Catalyst Books.
