Ovarian cancer is the most fatal women’s cancer.  There is no screening test for ovarian cancer and because this disease is often caught in its late stages, 55% of women diagnosed die within five years.  Please help find a reliable early detection test for ovarian cancer by supporting Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only registered Canadian charity solely dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer.

What can you do? Here is a list of suggested actions:

Support women who have been diagnosed
Sign this petition to Minister of Health (Canada) calling for an immediate additional investment of $10 million in ovarian cancer research
Keep ovarian cancer in the spotlight by attending an event close to you.
Become informed - especially if you are at increased risk

“The need for awareness, support and research is crucial,” says Elisabeth Baugh, CEO of Ovarian Cancer Canada.  Please help spread the word help raise public knowledge of this often overlooked disease.
