Guelph Organic Conference and Book Launch, "The Permaculture Market Garden"
We’re excited to be attending the 36th annual Guelph Organic Conference in Guelph, Ontario, January 26 – 29.
This conference is a wonderful mix of in-depth education and workshop opportunities, giving attendees the chance to learn about a wide range of subjects, from market gardens to holistic livestock management, to fruit tree grafting, and everything in between. Alongside all this is an amazing trade show floor showcasing the best in Ontario agriculture.
As if all that isn’t enough, we’re also proud to announce the launch of Zack Loeks’ new book, The Permaculture Market Garden: A visual Guide to a Profitable Whole-systems Farm Business. Fully illustrated with Zach’s beautiful watercolour illustrations, and packed full of his years of experience building the market garden, this is the guide to inspire the seasoned market gardener and the beginner alike.
Zach will be launching his book with an all day workshop, Thursday January 26th. He will be presenting the material from his book which covers how natural systems play out on the farm-scale, whole farm planning, design and decision-making and permaculture farm principles. Zach is also speaking on Saturday and Sunday during the conference workshops. For more information about tickets and schedule, please visit the Guelph Organic Conference website.
If you’re in the area, please drop by the trade show and visit our booth – we’d love to say hi and show off the selection of beautiful, informative books we’re bringing. And of course we’re always happy to talk to our readers!
Hope to see you there, and if you can’t make it, be sure to watch our facebook, twitter and this space for an update on our experiences there!
